We occasionally have guest breads here, but not daily. They include granary or malt,
cottage loaves, spiced such as cinnamon.
Besides the bread we offer a seasonal slice - Autumn's flavours include artichoke
and olive; butternut squash and blue cheese with caramelised onions, sage and pecans;
courgette and Tallegio cheese.
We have many pastries including croissants, pain au choc, pain au raisin, almond,
etc. as well as cakes - our brownies we are told are addicting. Cake flavours are
also seasonal, a real favourite in all months is the pistachio rose or cardamom and
orange flower.
Each day at the end of the week we have bread and butter pudding that has been made
using croissants. One of our customers calls it the Rolls Royce of bread and butter
pud. We do not have it on Tuesdays or Wednesdays however unless it's particularly
rainy and cold and one of us needs some comfort food. It uses only cream, eggs, sugar
and flavourings such as chocolate, cherry, sultanas, almonds, pecans, vanilla, rum,
bourbon depending on the season and our whim.
We also sell bread cookery books, bannetons, linens, and cake plates. We are planning
on bread courses beginning in the Summer if there's an interest - email us should
there be interest.
Currently we supply for special occasions items such as our bread, canapés, cupcakes,
etc. We have put together picnic hampers using our bread and other local suppliers'
cheese and goods such as Fareground antipasto and Brock Hall Farm cheese.
We are developing our commercial range of breads and will soon be able to offer restaurants
and caterers our award winning bread.
